By accessing or using the Eicon mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time and will notify users of material changes.
2. Description of Service
Eicon provides an art recognition and information service. Users can photograph artworks to receive identification, contextual information, and related content. The Service includes AI-powered features such as chat, similar artwork discovery, and personal scan history.
3. User Accounts
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.
4. Use License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or in any way exploit the Service or any content within it without prior written permission from Eicon Vision Private Limited.
5. User Content
When you submit photographs or other content through the Service, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant Eicon a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, process, and store this content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. User-contributed artwork information may be used to enhance the platform for all users.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are owned by Eicon Vision Private Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Artwork information provided through the Service is sourced from museums, galleries, and public databases and is presented for educational and informational purposes.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Artwork identification and information are provided for general reference and may not always be accurate or complete. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any artwork data, AI-generated responses, or similar artwork recommendations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Eicon Vision Private Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
